Josh started developing his photography at the young age of fifteen with his father's point&shoot while saving up enough money to buy his first camera working in the back of a barbecue restaurant. When he was nineteen he left America on his first trip through Europe and Asia. This trip and many others have developed his photography into what it is today. Using both analog and digital, he shoots environmental portraits and culturally rich landscapes. Telling stories of places and people through single images.
In 2013 he picked up filmmaking. He filmed, directed, and edited his first independent short-film, a documentary entitled 'HOPE' which won three awards in it's first festival to premiere. He has now traveled to over twenty countries, produced narrative films, music videos, branded content, and documentaries. He currently works as a freelance cinematographer and photographer in St. Louis, Missouri.
